On this beautiful Florida day, with the onset of an unexpected “cold front,”
residents and staff braved the weather (a high of 86°) and kicked off
“National Nursing Home Week.”

One after another, we challenged each other to the finish.
The Chaplain had the most “wins,” … but she was so fast, no one could take a picture of her!  :-)

Last week, on National Fireman’s Day, one of our longterm residents “Ms. Tibby”
joined us in delivering our “thanks” (along with fresh cookies) to our neighboring Fire Dept.

The firemen greeted us warmly (and who wouldn’t for a basket of cookies :-) ,
