Chaplain’s Message

“God is good all the time, all the time God is good.”

I just love this little saying that says so much about God. My passion is to bring all the goodness of God to our residents and to our awesome staff who serve your loved ones with compassion, care, dignity, and professionalism.
My part of the team here at Anchor Care is to meet spiritual and emotional needs through one on one visits, group activities, or a friendly hello as I pass our residents in the hallways. Everyone needs encouragement, support and prayer. We offer this on a daily basis.
Chapel services are held on the weekends by volunteers. There is live music and spiritually uplifting messages. Residents are encouraged to participate and sing along with their favorite hymns and praise songs.
There is a small chapel for private prayer and spiritual resources available. Prayer is offered to those who request it.
All religious faiths and practices are respected and welcomed.

National Day of Prayer Celebration 2013

The 2013 National Day of Prayer was celebrated at Anchor Care and Rehab on May 2, 2013. The facility enjoyed a pre-event service with some singing and praying of our own before watching the live-stream celebration from the Home Office from the comfort of our Dining Room on our Big Screen television.

The patients really felt a part of the event they were watching, most especially the balloon release at the end!
