Today is national root beer float day, so we enjoyed a nice cool treat with music!
Today residents had a crafty Monday. We crafted with flowers, shells, and wreaths. Relaxing afternoon with all the rain.
Today at Anchor Care we ended our week with residents making pumpkin pancakes, topped with fresh oranges, strawberries, and blueberries. Mrs. Crump enjoyed her fixing!
Today residents enjoyed giving back to the community by making blessing purses for single mothers for Mothers day. We will be donating the to Nana’s House here in Brevard County.
In honor of our Nurses, we are celebrating the men and women who serve our residents every day with open hearts and loving hands for Nurses Week. Today we let them know how much we love them by giving them a basket called “Nurses Survival Kit”, each candy representing the different ways to get through the day. Life Savers, Tootsie Rolls, Starbursts, Peppermint Patties, and Gum.

Residents enjoyed coloring eggs using vinegar, shaving cream, and food coloring. Doris is doing her bunny ear pose!
Congratulations to Ms. Crump and Hollie, Director of Therapy. Their chocolate chip cookie bowls with hot chocolate cream cheese topped with crushed graham crackers won them first place!
